[fancypost borderwidth=0px]A thin layer of mists covered the mountains today, making it difficult to see any part of the mountain below the level from which LightningClan made camp. Padding from one of the caves was the Emperor himself, stretching slightly before beginning to pad down one of the many passages.

His paws itched to do something productive- maybe he'd lead a patrol later?- however, the early morning hours seemed so... tranquil. The brown tabby, for the time being, didn't quite plan on doing anything. Leaping up onto one of the sides of one of the mountain bridges, Roman's eyes fluttered closed briefly, inhaling the air deeply.

The mountains were treacherous as much as they were beautiful, both dangerous and mysterious. Perhaps that was why Roman found this to be his favorite of all of LightningClan's homes. He remembered back when they had still been StormClan, living deep in the forest, while he himself went by the alias 'Dare'. He shook his head a little, a nostalgic little smile creeping onto his maw.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px]Roman wasn't exactly a social butterfly- he had been, at one time, however- but he did enjoy talking to his fellow clanmates most of the time. His green gaze flickered to the two approaching LightningClanners, nodding a little at their arrival. "'Morning," the feline murmured, giving a yawn as he rolled his shoulders back, before he focused back on the duo, emerald optics switching between both, "How are you both?"

It was true- he had indeed been intending to lead a patrol earlier on in the day, and perhaps he still would, but for now this would do. "Coming, of course," the Emperor then added as he came to a halt, offering a slight dip of his striped brown head.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px]Roman preferred sleeping at night- however, he did happen to be quite a morning person, for whatever reason. He woke up early and fell asleep late, trying to squeeze as much activity into his day as possible, though he always got enough sleep in. Or tried to, anyways. Padding towards the duo, the leader managed to catch the last statement of Engarde as he made his way over. "Indeed," the tabby chimed in, looking at the sunrise for a brief moment before he glanced back at the other two, "I do like the mountains best- LightningClan as many homes, but it's so beautiful up here."

[fancypost borderwidth=0px]Most clans stayed away from such treacherous lands, for fear of the dangerous mountain conditions. There were the steep cliffsides and crumbling paths, and not to mention the constant storms. Even the caves they made their nests in were often cold and dark. But it was so, so beautiful up here. Roman thought the mountains, covered in mist were mysterious and alluring, and he loved his home more than anything.

Hearing the call of a newcomer, the Emperor strode towards them, coming to a halt beside his three high positions- glad to see them greeting this new feline. His green gaze then shifted to the female thoughtfully. A joiner, perhaps? The leader certainly hoped so- StarClan knew they needed more of them.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px]"Hello," Roman greeted upon spotting the male, as he leapt smoothly up onto another bolder nearby. This one was smaller, which meant less chance of falling, which was a good thing for the tabby. His build was quite bulky and broad- built for strength, not agility. However, he was learning and adjusting, since this was LightningClan's new home, and if he wanted to survive, well, he sort of had to learn.

"I'm Roman, by the way," he added as he sat, head titled slightly as he blinked at the male, inquiring, "What's your name, kid?"

However, he couldn't recall introducing himself prior, and so the Emperor came padding over slowly, seating himself neatly before the female. "I'm Roman," was his simple greeting, offering a half-smile.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px]The LightningClan leader was wandering the cave passageways once more aimlessly, finding it easy to navigate the mountains now. It took a while, of course, with all the winding paths throughout the peaks, but it honestly hadn't taken long with all the walking about he did. Yawning a little, Roman glanced about, growing restless once more.
